London based Beth Keeping channels her inner ‘Taylor Swift meets Haim’ in the contagious “San Francisco”. Citing traditional country and modern pop as her key influential sound, Beth is a true storyteller who sticks to her goal. Speaking about real situations in her music, the honest lyrical approach in her songs are breathtaking. Beth is also a founder of ‘Write Like a Girl’, a project that puts the spotlight back on female songwriters and champions the rights of equality in the music industry. 

“San Francisco” narrates letting go of a person or even a moment and illustrates the feeling of what could have been. Written after a five week backpacking trip across South East Asia, Beth found herself connecting with someone from San Francisco. Left thinking “I’ll probably never see you again, but if i returned, would you care?”, the emotions are pored out through the number with Beth’s genuine heartfelt songwriting.
