Newly formed pop rock band Dear Monday are based in Cambridge. Vocalist Jamie Wiltshire isn’t a stranger to MoggBlog as his other Alternative band Standing Like Statues received a feature not long ago. With a refreshing sound, Dear Monday are here to show that they’re here to stay. For a debut single, ‘Somebody’ compliments the quintet with a fresh start and a bright future ahead.
The bright production on Somebody feels enlightening and very vibrant. Strong and prominent vocals fill the air with a believable truth. The instruments bounce off one another with a tight rhythm section laying down a subtle but sweet groove. A strong first single from the collective and I’m looking forward to hearing how their sound will develop over the years.
